Women’s Soccer

Written by: Molly Hildebrandt

Being on the Savannah Country Day School women’s soccer team has been an amazing experience. This year, we won our second regional championship in a row, and it still feels crazy to think about. We worked so hard for it, and it all comes back to something we say all the time: Be Determined, Be Disciplined, Consistently — or BDBDC.

BDBDC means showing up every day ready to work, pushing through the hard practices, and staying focused even when things get tough. It’s not just something we say — it’s how we play, how we support each other, and how we keep getting better as a team.

This season wasn’t always easy. We had tough games, injuries, and moments where we really had to stay strong, but we never gave up. Everyone on the team believed in each other, and we stayed together no matter what.

Winning back-to-back championships is something I’ll never forget. In addition, I’ll remember the laughs, the long practices, and how close we’ve all become. I’m so proud of this team, and everything we’ve done.

We still have big goals ahead, and we’re not done yet. As long as we keep living by BDBDC, I know we can do even more.
