Flag Football

September 30th marked the beginning of an exciting season for the SCDS Girls Flag Football team, and the squad did not disappoint. Playing with energy, determination, and teamwork, we secured victories in both of our opening games, setting the tone for what promises to be a memorable season.

In the first game against Groves High School, the team demonstrated excellent communication and strategy. Key plays on offense kept our opponents on their heels with Bella Grace Baker and Molly Hildebrandt being valuable assets in the team’s scoring execution. The defense worked tirelessly to prevent scoring opportunities; Greta Stubbs standing out with the most pulls.

The second game showcased the team’s versatility and stamina. Even after a hard-fought first match, the players remained focused and composed. Outstanding passes, precise route-running, and quick flag pulls contributed to another impressive win against Windsor Forest High School.

With a perfect start, the SCDS Girls Flag Football team has momentum. Fans and players alike are excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds. Our upcoming schedule can be seen below. Please come out to support the team! Your attendance is key to our success. Go, Hornets!
