The Country Day Shooting Team has started the season off pretty well. With the season starting in August, we have had two qualifiers. In the first qualifier, we ended up placing a respectable third place with the top five shooters being Wesley Spencer (173/200), Walker Peters (172/200), Reed Dulany (171/200), Gracen Garceau (171/200), and Archer Ritchie (164/200), with Gracen Garceau finishing fifth place overall among all female shooters. In our second tournament, we grabbed second place out of twelve teams and finished with our top five shooters shooting a 879/1000. Our top five shooters in this tournament were Walker Peters (180/200), Wesley Spencer (179/200), Caleb Vo (175/200), Reed Dulany (174/200), and Gracen Garceau (171/200). Gracen Garceau impressively ended third place among all female athletes. We hope that we can keep improving and maybe get first place in a qualifier or even win the state championship this year.
