With the commencement of this year's spring sports season, it can be quite a busy time for many of our athletes. For our baseball players in particular, this season has brought about quite the commotion! The team truly personifies our school spirit, putting their blood, sweat and tears into their gameplay, competing with resolve and palpable commitment. Despite one win achieved, players Bingham Salandi and Michael Cervini both told me that they’re confident in more victories to come, excited to steal more bases. I also asked what they would consider the ‘highlight’ of the season thus far, and Bingham stepped forward, exclaiming, “I’m just really grateful I have the opportunity to play the sport I’m good at with the people I love. Community is such a pillar for me. I wouldn’t trade my team for the world.” I was so touched. I’m sure that the baseball team will continue to triumph and exhibit their true skills and strengths on the field.
