Thanksgiving Food Showdown

Round 1-Appetizers

Baked Mac n Cheese vs. Mashed Potatoes

With both options being no-doubt Thanksgiving classics, one dish really ran away with it. While mashed potatoes is a luscious side that is rich in Thanksgiving culture, mac n cheese is personally my go-to side and has stood the test of time.

Round 2-Main Courses

Turkey vs. Ham

For me, it's turkey. For others, it might be ham. But turkey is the face of Thanksgiving and is more than just food. Ham, while still good in its own way, does not have the commanding presence of turkey. On top of being a versatile protein that suits many needs, turkey is the pioneer of the concept of Thanksgiving, so turkey clears this round.

Round 3-Desserts

Pecan Pie vs. Apple Pie

Now pecan vs apple pie introduces an interesting thought. Both pies are great and unique in their own way. So, since a function can never have only one dessert, I am choosing both desserts to be added to the dream Thanksgiving dinner.
