Nom Nom Poke Shop Review

Written by: Kensie Glass and Tanner Kaminsky

Nom Nom Poke Shop is a Japanese restaurant located on Bull Street in downtown Savannah. It is known for its fresh poke bowls. The restaurant is really cute and small, so people mostly order food to go, or you can also get it on Uber Eats! We ordered our bowls on Uber Eats, and they arrived in about 45 minutes.

We rate it a Paxton Towe/10 because of the freshness and the mixture of crunch and vegetables with various sauces.

Kensie got the spicy tuna crunch bowl with eel sauce and highly recommends it a Paxton Towe/10. Tanner got the same thing and said the poke was so “nom nom.” The spicy tuna crunch bowl consists of bigeye tuna, diced avocado, masago, seaweed salad, fried shallot, and creamy togarashi sauce. The tuna and seaweed salad is the best part. You can also add any vegetables and sauces to it. Kensie added carrots, edamame, and eel sauce. The bowls are a very reasonable size for one person. Tanner thought it was finger-licking good and made it his mission to spread the word. Tanner also ate most of Kensie’s bowl. We also got cucumber salad to share, and it was the best cucumber salad we’ve ever had (10/10).

In conclusion, we strongly recommend Nom Nom Poke Bowl to all those who are curious or celebrate the holiday. If you go, you should get the spicy tuna crunch bowl and cucumber salad on the side.
