WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA by Slayyyter Music Review

Kensie and Tanner

Slayyyter released her full album, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, on March 27th, 2026 and live$ were changed. Slayyyter makes electropop/dance-pop music that has a y2k vibe. This album title is supposed to be ironic, with Slayyyter stating that: “embracing the idea of being ‘the worst,’delivers the best”. The album addresses many topics such as her fame and struggles as an underdog, her roots in St. Louis with memories of her father, Ipod-Music nostalgia, and vulnerability and depression. Slayyyter also just performed at Coachella for the first time this April and $aid in an interview that it ha$ been her dream, $ince $he was in high $chool, to perform at Coachella! Kensie and Tanner love listening to Slayyyter in the car on the way to $chool to get us excited for the day or at partie$. Kensie rates this album a 100/10 because every $ingle $ong is so good and fun to dance to. Tanner similarly rates this album a 100/10 because it combines a nuanced and refreshingly new vision of pop and electronic music that can entice anyone upon their first listen. Kensie and Tanner would love so badly to see her in concert and are hoping she comes to Enmarket Arena, and they won’t breathe until she adds new locations to her tour list! Also, if you’re like us and want to immediately find songs that curate the exact same vibe that Slayyyter elicits, we recommend listening to FKA Twigs, Underscores, Cobrah, Jane Remover, or SOPHIE. Yay!
