As the semester comes to an end, people begin to wind down with feelings of excitement for the long break ahead of them, sometimes skipping that extra homework assignment or refusing to study in class. However, for Sarah Sussman, continuing to pursue perfection has been of the utmost importance to her, especially in her dedication to the Buzz.

In Q2, Sarah has continued to take on large responsibilities as a lead writer. She wrote an article about campus life, taking the time to consider the opinions and viewpoints of fellow students around campus, and infusing those narratives with her own ideas. Through this, she's created an intricate and reflective article worth the time to read. Furthermore, through her dedication to basketball, Sarah was able to contribute another article about the basketball team thus far. As an insider, Sarah gives a unique perspective on the team, and as a veteran, is able to accurately predict the season ahead and the ambitions for the team. If that wasn’t enough, Sarah contributed yet another aspect to this Q2 edition. In the midst of these articles, Sarah also assisted us with the creation of the buzz polls, an essential stamp of what the Buzz has come to be known for. As you’ve seen, she helped create original content through unique questions, provoking thought and some chuckles here and there.

But, what you probably know Sarah for, and what we as editors are the most appreciative of, are Sarah’s pictures. With her own section on the website, Sarah documents the everyday lives of students, capturing jazz band events, pop-up stations, and even students simply enjoying the quad. She encapsulates the hornet spirit, and as a result, improves the Buzz as a whole.
