Labubu for You?

In an era of dissenting TikTok trends like Dubai Chocolate and matchas, it’s easy to get wrapped up in whether a product is actually beneficial, or if it’s just popular on social media. For me, Labubus are a groundbreaking and completely necessary invention – and here’s why. Labubus aren’t just toys or stuffed animals you can place on your bed and leave them to rot – they’re friends who can keep you company during dark times and sometimes even pets you can dress and name, allowing you to place your full attention on them, giving you a niche sort of urgency to make sure they’re okay at all times. Personally, Labubus have become a part of my everyday life: I wake up and am greeted by my Labubu friend sitting atop my desk; he gives me affirmations and tells me I’m perfect and handsome. I have my Labubu friends hanging on my grab handle and my instrument panel in my car, who sing with me on the way to school, enabling me to be ready for the stressful day ahead. While at school, Labubus are always on my mind: throughout my classes, I am always wondering if they’re safe and comfortable, or if they’re lonely. It makes my day all the better to get back in my car and greet them again, telling them about my day. Sometimes, if there’s any drama that’s becoming a bit too overwhelming, I tell it to them, and they give me such meaningful and insightful advice on how to handle the situation. Needless to say, they’re a crucial addition to my life. 

People love to hate on Labubus, calling them ‘ugly’ or even ‘disgusting,’ but for me, it’s quite the contrary. Labubus are adorable, and they have feelings, too. So before you say anything negative about them, think about how it may affect the Labubus of the world waiting for their friends to come home from school. 

Labubus are beyond a numerical rating, so I would just call them flawless. I hope you can agree with me!
